Note to Emma [16 Apr 2006|03:41pm]
Emma,

I have not seen you around this morning so I can only assume that you have gone home for the holidays. Either that, or you are avoiding me as well.

At any rate, if you see my brother around, let him know that I am looking for him. He knows he was only allowed an hour out to enjoy his chocolate and he has ceased to answer my notes.

I am sending out the boar.

Note to Pansy [14 Apr 2006|01:16pm]
Pansy,

Hello. This is Millicent Bulstrode.

My brother is doing fine now.

They thought it was a bad dizzy spell. As if we Bulstrodes of hearty constitutions ever get sick.

Perhaps someone was too scared to come after me directly.

Excuse me. My brother seems to be making a racket. I should probably go unlock the door to his dormitory and let him get some air.

Emma,

My brother seems to be doing fine now but they won't let him go until tomorrow.

He has never had problems with dizziness before.

But whoever gave him that problem will now have another one to deal with.

Owl to Charlie Weasley [12 Apr 2006|09:47pm]
Healer Weasley,

Hello. This is Millicent Bulstrode.

I am on my way.

Millicent Bulstrode

P.S. You might want to send some calming potions to the Third Year you sent to me. She seems to be shaking all over. Can't imagine why.

Emma,

Of course they are average. That is why they are Unspeakables. They are so bland and boring that as soon as you meet one, you've forgotten them. They seemed rather bored themselves when eating with us. Although, if given the choice, I wouldn't eat in the Great Hall with the other Houses either.

I, not have an aura? Oh dear. You have discovered my secret.

I am not human but a poltergeist. I had planned on waiting until school ended to tell you, but Peeves and I are running away as soon as possible to make our own little bundles of chaotic energy. If you like, you may be their godmother.

Emma,

I don't care what the other students say. I, for one, would like to see those strange Ministry workers come back.

One of them actually had the nerve to come up to me and tell me that I had a very dark aura and that my future would be wrought with disaster. I responded that I hoped so as I had been working very hard on that happening, and she practically ran down the corridor in the opposite direction.

Remind me to add "Tormenting the government" to my list of "Things to Do More Often."

Owl to Harry Potter [05 Apr 2006|08:06pm]
To The Boy Who Lived,

Hello. This is Millicent Bulstrode.

I have decided to let you in on the secret to saving the world:

Tell your little enemy that you were utterly beaten by Hufflepuff in Quidditch.

He'll be laughing so hard that you will be able to take him out right away.

You may thank me at any time.

Emma,

No doubt there is a specific charm for it. It is almost too bad that Madam Pince is no longer our Head of House. Without her feigned concern for us, I shall actually have to search for the book myself. Pity. She was useful when you needed something quickly.

I do not believe it matters who are Head of House is. No one seems to want to leave us alone these days.

Speaking of incessant nagging, have you spoken to your parents lately? Mine seem strangely quiet. Not so much odd as different but still an occasion worth noting.

Emma,

As I predicted Professor Slug's talk tonight was only a reiteration of his notice this afternoon.

Only two hours longer.

I do believe one of the Fifth Year Prefects fell asleep at one point. Had I possessed the capacity to envy someone, it would be for the ability to sleep with one's eyes open. Most useful, that is.

We must not forget the grand reward of Quidditch tickets should we turn in those responsible for the hexing.

I do believe the only reward worse than that would be tickets to hear him lecture on the wonders of crystallised pineapple.

Note to Tracey [04 Mar 2006|09:26pm]
Tracey,

Hello. This is Millicent Bulstrode.

Thank you. I was wondering when people around here would finally start to appreciate my genius.

Yes, it is a shame I am no longer with the Inspector. He was just so unreasonable over the whole thing, I had to let him go. You should see the longing looks he still throws at me over meals. Quite the baby, really.

Emma,

Tracey has always been a bit odd. I, for one, do not trust people who write poetry.

The Hufflepuffs are never up to much. I am not aware of what Justin is currently doing although I am sure it somehow involves the colour pink.

I have been freed from the Inspector, yes. Pity too. I was enjoying the paranoid looks he kept giving me during the investigation.

Note to Tracey Davis [28 Feb 2006|09:45pm]
Tracey,

Hello. This is Millicent Bulstrode.

Tsk tsk, Davis. Attacking a Gryffindor in plain view.

The least you could have done was waited for the Aurors to show up.

Emma,

It has been exceedingly quiet this week since the Gryffindor came back.

I feel like I have almost been remiss in my duties.

What to do next, I wonder. . .

Emma,

The professors here are so lovely and accommodating. As soon as one is comfortable in one's new environs, one is unceremoniously kicked out, only to be replaced by others.

Only Gryffindors would be fussed over like that.

Heavily spelled note written on a stolen, torn piece of guaze [14 Feb 2006|08:51pm]
E--

I suppose my dream of becoming popular has come true.

Does Harry Potter know how I feel yet or should I throw myself at him again? He does know today's date, does he not?

Influence. Ha. How about being under the influence of Imperius? If I wanted to be in the middle of an Auror dog pile, I wouldn't have done it in public.

Chocolates were appreciated.

Emma,

No. Chocolates are fine.

Save yourself the misery and side with Pansy.

Wait. Scratch that.

Just: side with Pansy.

These Aurors are about as much fun as. Well. As a bunch of Aurors.

Should I die of boredom, let my tombstone read: She treated everyone with equal dis-respect.

Emma,

Have you found a group for the Hogsmeade outing yet?

Would you like to join me as I scurry across the village, running errands for His Pompousness, the Inspector?

No?

Pity.

PS: I shall expect a few piece of consolatory chocolate on my bed by Sunday evening. I doubt my job will even take me near the more interesting shops.

Note spelled to nip at Pansy's ears [06 Feb 2006|07:38pm]
Pansy,

Hello. This is Millicent Bulstrode.

I was not aware that filing the papers and letters one was told to file by one's "superior" was now punishable. As said filing was a punishment in the first place, one would like to see how completing one's new punishment would be handled. Not being punished for the first offense anymore, perhaps?

Note to Pansy [05 Feb 2006|11:22pm]
Pansy,

Hello. This is Millicent Bulstrode.

I was putting my illustrious charm work to good use today in the Inspector's office when I came across a few letters.

I was not aware your crush was this out of hand.

Quills are good, I will give you that. However, his true passion lies in. . .

Are you ready?

. . . parchment.

Why, I do believe the fumes from a fresh packet of paper would let you get away with anything.

I would stay away from the Aurors in the Owlery, though, if I were you. Too much time rolling around in owl leftovers. Unless you like that kind of thing.

I wouldn't really know.

I just hope this letter finds you.
